Today we’ll continue to learn the topic “Travelling and Transport”, we’ll repeat the words we know and learn new ones.

3. Фонетическая зарядка

Repeat the poem after me (The poem “Trains”)

4. Речевая зарядка

- Do you like to travel?

- Where did you travel last time?

- What means of travel do you prefer?

- Have you ever been in Britain?

- Where would you like to go?

- Yes, I do. I like to travel.

- I traveled last summer.

- I prefer to travel by train.

- No, I haven’t. I have never been to Britain.

- I’d like to go to the UK.

Translate the words into English and do the task (кроссворд)

- Listen to the speaker and repeat after him

- Now lets read and translate the words

- Прослушивают запись с новыми словами.

- Читают за учителем слова с доски.

- Записывают в словарики

7. Тренировка навыков чтения

-    Let’s read these words and word combinations

-    Now we’ll try to use the irregular verbs in the sentences;

-    Look at the pictures and say what  they have (haven’t) done.

9. Знакомство со словами who и which

Today we’ll learn two words who and which. It is interesting to compare them. Let’s read the sentences from the ex.12 p.234 and try to guess when we shall use which and when who.

You can see in the sentences both words mean «который»

Who используем с одушевленными предметами, а which с неодушевленными.

At home you’ll find ex.5 p. 39 in your workbook and write what Janet tells her friends.

At the end of the lesson we shall listen to the dialogue. Be ready to answer my questions.

- Where does the woman want to travel?

- How much is the ticket?

- When is the train to Liverpool?

Слушают аудиозапись диалога.

- She wants to go to Liverpool.

- The ticket is 14 pounds.

- The train is at 3.15.

11. Тренировка в чтении диалога

 Now let’s read the dialogue after the speaker.

 Повторяют диалог за диктором.

Ex.14 p235- make up a dialogue;

Ex.5 p.39 in the workbook

13. Итоги урока

Our lesson is over. What did we learn today?

We learn the new words and compared the words who and which, described the pictures and listened to the new dialogue.
